on 11 July 2006, Centre For Seniors is a non-profit, voluntary welfare
organisation that is committed to promoting the total well-being of
seniors in Singapore, particularly their vocational, financial and
by our vision of a Singapore in which seniors enjoy their rightful
place in the family, community and nation, the Centre For Seniors
advocates positive attitudes towards older persons by fostering an
inclusive, elder-friendly culture in society and in the workplace.
Specifically, the centre focuses on developing and delivering high
quality training programmes for older adults that promote their
continuous employment; in recognition of their experience, skills and
abilities. In addition, the seniors will also benefit from engaging in
active employment, such as financial security and social integration.
In tandem with that, it offers training programmes for human resource
personnel, management and union leaders to enhance their knowledge and
skills to manage older workers more effectively.
