Training Programme 2007
2007年亚洲文明博物馆义务中文讲解员训练计划书草案

Objective:	To train a group of volunteers to be explainers for “On the Nalanda Trail: Buddhism in India, China and Southeast Asia” Exhibition, to help ACM reach out to more Mandarin-speaking visitors (locals, students and tourists)
宗旨：	培训一批义务工作者成为“佛学之光 – 佛教在印度，中国和东南亚的传承”特展的讲解员，以协助亚洲文明博物馆接待更多讲华语的访客。
Duration:	2 weekend sessions (3-4 hours per session)
训练期：	2 个周末时段（每次3-4小时）
Venue:	Asian Civilisations Museum, Empress Place ACM Volunteers Room (basement)
地点：	亚洲文明博物馆义务工作者室
No. of trainees:	30
学员人数：	30
Commitment:	Upon completion of training, volunteers are expected to guide regularly in the Buddhism Exhibition from Jan-Mar 2008: at least once a week either weekdays or weekends, to be confirmed between ACM staff and volunteer guides.
预期任务：	完成训练后，预期义务工作者能定时在2008年1月至3月间的佛教展轮值导览，至少每周一次（周日或周末），有待亚洲文明博物馆职员和义务工作者进一步的确定。

4.15-5.15 pm	Museum walk-through 走入展厅 Highlights of ACM, especially Buddhist exhibits in permanent galleries as a whole (Southeast Asia, China and South Asia) (demonstration by ACM Mandarin Guides on how a guided tour can be conducted) 精彩展品介绍，特别是永久展厅中的佛教展品（由博物馆中文讲解员示范）	Notes to be distributed 将发给讲义

3.15-5.15 pm	Star pieces of the exhibition 特展的“星级展品” Gallery walk-through 走入展厅
5.15-6.00 pm	Peer Guiding 结伴导览 Q & A （交流时间）
FOLLOW-UP跟进 1 & 2 Dec 2007 (Sat & Sun)	Mentor Tours实习 Trainees to observe and learn from ACM Mandarin Guides, before being scheduled for regular tours. During these tours, trainees to follow ACM Mandarin Guides on their tour of Buddhism Exhibition. 学员在正式轮值导览前，可随从中文解说员在佛教展里实习。 Trainees can sign up with ACM Mandarin Guides, either for 1 or 2 Dec or anytime in December period, if they are available. The last mentor tours will be on 5 & 6 Jan 2008. 学员可与中文解说员约定，在12月里完成实习的安排。 Trainees are strongly encouraged to do Peer Guiding to practise their guiding skills for the Buddhism Exhibition. 鼓励学员们结伴导览佛教展，从而练习及提升个别地解说技巧。	ACM Mandarin Guides & Trainees 中文解说员和学员
