Our Beginning

The inaugural meeting was held on 11 July 2006. It was called by the Chairman of the Founder-Member (NTUC Eldercare Co-operative Ltd), Mr Lim Boon Heng. Mr Lim is Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and the Immediate Past Secretary General of NTUC. He chaired the meeting which was attended by representatives of all the Institutional Members and others.

Mr Lim Boon Heng was invited by the Board of Directors to be Advisor.

The Board then appointed Dr Chiang Hai Ding as the first Executive Director of Centre For Seniors.
